From France this simple guard give protection against the asian hornet. The oval holes mean bees can easily navigate the guard and enter the hive, however due to the large wingspan of the asian hornet they cannot gain access.
Easy and quick to assemble and fit, it can be used on most hive types, including Nucs and Warre hives (not WBC).

Simply use drawing pins to fix the guard in place, ensuring it covers the entrance of the hive. The Stop It section hangs down.
If using with a sloping hive stand slot the bottom tabs in between the stand and the floor.
This guard can be easily removed when the Asian hornet is not present.
