This refund and returns policy is one part of our contract with you and should be read in conjunction with our general terms and conditions and cancellation policyPlease see below the relevant terms for specific products or services you are buying or have bought from us:

  • Refunds:

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

  • Returns:
    Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, plants and gift cards cannot be returned.
  • Livestock Sales
    When purchasing livestock, it is the customers responsibility to ensure they are satisfied with the health of the animal before purchase, and once the animal leaves our premises we cannot be held responsible for its health thereafter.  However, if a hen becomes ill within 4 weeks of purchase you should contact us immediately and we will endeavour to establish the cause and recommend a solution.  If we believe the hen is ill or has died through an underlying health condition present at the time of purchase, then we will offer a full refund upon return of the animal to Mantel Farm.

We will not refund a livestock purchase if the hen has been mixed with an existing flock or been subjected to stress (including dog or fox threat).
