Description
All feeds within the Smallholder Range are Vegetarian Society Approved, never using animal by-products such as fishmeal or vitamins covered in pork gelatine coating. Nor are there any artificial colours in the feeds, only natural ingredients are used.
Feeding instructions:
For good strong eggshells and optimum nutrition, treats should only be fed in the afternoon, after your chickens have eaten their complete feed. Feed no more than around 20g (an egg cup full) per bird per day.
Composition:
Wheat, Maize, Peas, Limestone (Calcium Carbonate), Grit, Rapeseed oil.
- This product contains calcium granules (adding calcium to the diet) and hen grit to help break down food, in turn aiding digestion.
• Smallholder Range only source identity preserved (Hard IP) Non-GM ingredients.
• Smallholder Range feeds are made from natural ingredients which can result in the feed changing colour slightly through the seasons.

Crude Protein: 9.25%. Crude Fat: 2.75%. Crude Fibre: 3.0%. Crude Ash: 5.0%. Calcium: 0.75%. Sodium: 0.01%. Phosphorous: 0.3%. Lysine: 0.33%. Methionine: 0.16%.
*the Lysine and Methionine in this feed are from natural sources – synthetic amino acids are not used in this feed
