Natural Free Range Layers Crumble from the Smallholder Range provides a complete, nutritionally balanced diet, for healthy alert hens. Made from quality Non-GM ingredients, soya free and with added Omega 3, Natural Free Range Layers Pellets contain no artificial colours and is approved by the Vegetarian Society. Boosted with vitamins and minerals, they provide everything your hens need for optimum health all year round.

Made as a Crumble, this feed helps to prevent selective feeding and creates less dust and waste than a regular meal/mash. It is suitable for feeding to large fowl or bantams. Also suitable for feeding to cockerels that are kept with hens, along with pullets that have not yet come into lay and hens that are not laying because they are going through a moult. This feed can also be safely fed to adult ducks and geese if kept with hens.

Nor are there any artificial colours in the feeds, only natural ingredients are used, such as grass, maize and marigold petals in the layers feeds for lovely golden yolks and a deep rich taste. Description

Feeding Instructions:
Feed from 16-20 weeks onwards. Provide on an ad lib basis, they will require about 100-150g per hen per day, all year round. Introduce a new feed gradually over 7 to 10 days to help a smooth change over. This feed should be fed with ad lib fresh water and grit should be made available at all times.

For good strong egg shells and optimum nutrition, treats should only be fed in the afternoon, after your chickens have eaten their crumble and no more than an egg cup full for each bird should be given.
