Our wellbeing examination can highlight any problems in your flock or give you peace of mind that all is OK.
Any beak trimming, toe trimming and wing clipping will be carried out if required (only with the authorisation of the owner)
Samples will be sent to the laboratory for a worm count test and recommendation will be given upon your return.
Parasite problem in your flock can lead to unhealthy birds, lower egg production and potentially life-threatening diseases if not dealt with properly. There is no point in giving worming drugs unnecessarily; with only one licensed wormer for domestic birds, repeated exposure will only speed the development of drug resistance.
This service is only available with a ‘chicken tripper’ booking. The fee is per pen of hens up to a maximum of 6 hens, for more birds or multiple flocks please book accordingly.
