Description
Pyrethrum is extracted from natural chrysanthemum flowers and formulated into a fast action, knockdown and contact insecticide powder, rapidly killing red mite.
Instructions for use:
Apply the powder directly at red mite (do not apply directly on birds) in and around poultry housing. Always shake well before use.
Remove cap and point container towards the area to be treated and squeeze gently. Apply the powder lightly and evenly over surfaces of infestation. Apply onto all surfaces where red mite are located including the nesting box and underside of the roof, taking particular care to spray in hard-to-reach areas, cracks and crevices. Leave the powder to work for minimum of 30 mins (for best results several hours) and whilst birds are not insitu.
Before birds are re-introduced to the building remove the powder residue by sweeping or hoovering. Do not use in wet locations.
For heavy infestations apply initially, repeat 3 days later and then use weekly as part of your regular cleaning routine.
Remove birds, eggs, feed, bedding, eating and drinking utensils before use.
