How it works:

  1. Open the tray and place it directly on top of the brood frames.

  2. Worker bees come into contact with the thymol gel and spread it naturally throughout the hive.

  3. The active ingredient disrupts and reduces varroa mite populations without harming the bees.

  4. For best results, follow recommended treatment schedules and ensure adequate hive ventilation.

Application Guidance

  • Typically applied late summer after honey harvest, or in spring as part of an integrated pest management plan.

  • One tray per hive for standard colonies.

  • Leave in place for approximately 2 weeks, then replace with a second tray if necessary (depending on infestation levels).

  • Do not use during honey flow.
