From mid September we will have a new flock of coloured hybrids available to buy. This is our last flock of point of lay hens for the year, the next flock being Spring 2025.
Autumn is a great time of year to increase your flock, with the shorter days making it easier to add new hens; less daylight hours gives less time for pecking! and, if the hens are roosting together you won’t need such an early dawn start to let them out, or late night to put them back in together at dusk!
We will have our full selection of hens available, so a great choice of hens. You can choose by their temperament, feather colour, egg colour or numbers of eggs laid. So if you are considering a few new hens, then this is a great time!
