This very pretty ‘skep’ styled candle is made from 100% pure beeswax.
A ‘skep’ was traditionally used as a hive before the current box-style was adopted. The candles show the door and several bees around the front of the hive.
Each candle is 50mm diameter at the base and the same high (+/- 2mm as these are hand cast).
These candles give a total burn time of around 9 hrs each.
Supplied in an organza bag.
Beeswax candles are reputed to help with air quality. Their natural scent is relaxing, and the light produced by the candle is said to be the closest to natural sunlight.
